国学大师王国维之人生三境界：一、昨夜西风凋碧树。独上高楼，望尽天涯路；二、衣带渐宽终不悔，为伊消得人憔悴；三、众里寻他千百度，蓦然回首，那人却在，灯火阑珊处。 这三句本来都是言情话相思的佳句，却被王国维用以表现“悬思——苦索——顿悟”的治学三重境界，它巧妙地运用了三句中蕴含的哲理意趣，把诗句由爱情领域推绎到治学领域，赋予了它以深刻的内涵。 第一境界：“昨夜西风凋碧树。独上高楼，望尽天涯路”，这词句出晏殊的《蝶恋花》，原意是说，“我”上高楼眺望所见的更为萧飒的秋景，西风黄叶，山阔水长，案书何达？在王国维此句中解成，做学问成大事业者，首先要有执着的追求，登高望远，瞰察路径，明确目标与方向，了解事物的概貌。 第二境界的这段诗句，出自宋代的另一位词人柳永的《蝶恋花》。原词是：“伫倚危楼风细细，望极春愁，黯黯生天际。草色烟光残照里，无言谁会凭阑意。拟把疏狂图一醉，对酒当歌，强乐还无味。衣带渐宽终不悔，为伊消得人憔悴。”王国维在这里，显然也已超出了原诗相思怀人的情绪了。他想说明，对事业，对理想，要执着追求，忘我奋斗，为了达到成功的彼岸，一切都要在所不惜。所谓书山有路勤为径，学海无涯苦作舟；宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。 第三境界，王国维则采用了宋代词人辛弃疾《青玉案”元夕》中的词句。辛弃疾的原词是：“东风夜放花千树，更吹落星如雨。宝马雕车香满路，凤箫声动，玉壶光转，一夜鱼龙舞。蛾儿雪柳黄金缕，笑语盈盈暗香去。众里寻他千百度，蓦然回首，那人却在，灯火阑珊处。”王国维用在此处，是指在经过多次周折、多年磨练之后，就会逐渐成熟起来，就能明察秋毫，豁然领悟。这就达致了最后的成功。所谓踏破铁鞋无觅处，得来全不费功夫。这是厚积薄发、功到自然
