it is always fun to go some places when alot of your friends are also going. this is actually motivated by microsoft. microsoft is throwing a party - well, sort of, it partners with wide wave theme park to give every ms primecard holders free pass to the them park, coupled with the mid-autumn festival and the season end for the water park, and a nice weather this time of the year. but for the most part, it is the fun going with friends, just use the excuse of the free pass:-). 

there arent a huge clowd in the park, a short 5 minutes wait we are in the park.

there is alot of funs on water, the kids pool is where kevin and chris spent most of their time. then the water wave pool, real fun, the part that the wave is the strongest will list you up in the air and drop you 6-8 feets back and force. it would be more fun if they know how to swim since many require some swiming skill (note to self: sign up for a new swiming class when kevin is back from shanghai next month).

the park is more than a water park, there is rollercoster ride, the 袋鼠跳跃, the octopus (章鱼旋），firetruck, 划船，etc.

在连接水上公园和儿童园的路上，看到了一个很有趣的现象，河里有一大堆鲤鱼在桥墩边张大嘴等着喂食，吊起我们钓鱼的兴致，可惜这鱼可不让钓的哦，看的我们手痒痒。 拍下来，饱饱眼福：-）

opening show

it is exceptional. kids love it! the performance is way beyond my expectations. it is a circus style show. during the pre-show, kids can get on to the stage, try out some mini-magic tricks and took pictures with elephants.

clown does what they do best to tease kids. the show is just fantastic. horses, tigers, elephants, along with acrobats, really light up the stage. the highlight is the performance of elephants, they are doing really great by rolling side-way, stacking up each other, standing up, enjoyable, the only unexpected thing is two of the elephants poopooed during the performance, and it took 2 guys to keep folling their steps and cleaning them up:-)

the motorcycle show is also breath taking. with no protection, the driver drove the motorcycle over a rope along with a beautiful lady hanging below the rope, it even does a 360 turn. It is amazing how they keep balance in that tiny rope. seeing is beliving.

the disney theme park is like a dream come true, especially for kids. kevin and chris grow up watching disney movies, cinderelly, sleeping beauty, snow white, alice in wonderland and when they know daddy is taking them to the disney they are excited. we went to the apcot, magic kindom, clearwater beach in tempa (one of the most beautiful beach in the world, the sand is snow white!), disney downtown, etc. it was a great trip - just like the theme of the land and a place where “a million dreams come true”.

this is a visit to carnation family fun park at relinger farm in late June. it is a quite small town about 40 min drive from sammamish. The farm has a big strawberry field which we can go and pick up strawberry. It is a u-pick style, and the rule says: you can eat as many strawberry as you want while picking up the strawberry, but you need to pay a small fee if you want to take home.

MBA 101: negotiation skill

Chris got to work right away. he started picking up whatever strawberry he can get his hands on. but after a while i did not see much berries in his bucket - guess he just keep eating the ‘free’ strawberries. i was wondering how he know it is free:-) . the little girl nana who went with us did pick alot strawberries. When Chris saw that, he gets an idea - it is more efficient to just get the free berries from nana’s bucket. one of the photo recorded his negotiation skill while trying to talk nana into giving him the berry. and he was successful.

the family fun park is pretty fun, far exceed my expectations. there are lots of entainments that are of good quality, such as the cart ride, the boating, the pet farm, the rollercoster, the swinging horse, the comedy show, pony ride, etc. one added advantage of this fun center is there are not many in the line. this is quite a comparison to disney world as we had experience early that month when we were there. almost every entaintament has a long line of people waiting to get in.

Kevin and Chris had a really good time and did not want to leave until they close the park.

kevin is ready to go to kindergarten. the sammamish children school held a graduation party for his class. in the party, kevin weared the graduation cap, received a certificate, it is a proud moment for him.

I went to the party, kevin was pretty active in class, running around and playing with his classmates. The projector was showing the interesting pictures taken throughout the years. Talked with a few families and everyone were excited and looking forward to their kids upcoming kindergarten. I grabbed chris along to the party. here are some pictures took during the party. his two teachers are: Ms Terry and Ms Kumi.
