while visiting the butchar garden during the xmas holiday, kevin and chris saw there are paper snowflakes on the cafe windows. they learned that there is a event running that every kid can exchange a paper snowflake for a cup of yumy chocolate drink. seemingly unprepared for the snowflake, they decided to make a paper airplane (they are very good at making paper airplanes) and try their luck. they quickly get to work and made two cute little airplanes. chris is chosen to negotiate with the cafe manager to see if an airplane would work. he approached to the counter and said, calmly, “i know we need to make snowflake, but i do not have scisors, but i made an airplane, would that be ok?”. the manager seems to be pretty impressed and said “of course!”. both kevin and chris got a yumy, hot chocolate treat along with a gingerbread man as a reward for not giving up and seeking alternatives.

there are not many left from the winter olympic 2010 event, only the olympic square and the new convention center with the olympic torch displays. the water drop is a very cute design, like a drop from teh space. the 4 torches still remind me about the mal-functioning of one of the torch and how creative they added an episode before the closing ceremony to “fix” the torch.

there arent a huge clowd in the park, a short 5 minutes wait we are in the park.

there is alot of funs on water, the kids pool is where kevin and chris spent most of their time. then the water wave pool, real fun, the part that the wave is the strongest will list you up in the air and drop you 6-8 feets back and force. it would be more fun if they know how to swim since many require some swiming skill (note to self: sign up for a new swiming class when kevin is back from shanghai next month).

在连接水上公园和儿童园的路上，看到了一个很有趣的现象，河里有一大堆鲤鱼在桥墩边张大嘴等着喂食，吊起我们钓鱼的兴致，可惜这鱼可不让钓的哦，看的我们手痒痒。 拍下来，饱饱眼福：-）
