did a parent teacher meeting sometime back and here are a list of helping tools for kids writing, which chris has been using. kinda effective:

when kids finish reading, ask them some of these questions:

summarize what happened in the story
what was the main idea of the story
who are the characters in the story and what were they like
why do you think (pick a character) acted that way?
what do you think the author’s purpose was in writing this piece?
how ere (name two characters) alike/different from each other?
which sentence gives the most important idea in the selection?
does this story remind you of something you have done or read about?
what was the author trying to tell the reader/

today is the funeral for whitney houston. it is a moving scene at the church. the bishop joked there are more stars than grammy. it ends with whitney’s famous song, i will always love you.
no one can replace her in the music world for a long time..

here is a live story of someone who is determined to not give up and work hard for the right opportunity at the right time.

Jemery Lin has been cut by two teams this year, never had a chance to prove himself, and almost got cut again by his current team NY Nicks. but one game, only one game has started a dezzleing show of impossible become reality. he seized the opportunity that has given to him, and showed his talent and got the entire world to recognize.

that just shows that if you work hard, has the right skill for the job, you will strike a home run when the time comes.

this is probably one of the best mission impossible movie tom cruise put together. very entertaining and breathtakingly done. the plot, the action, the theme, and the filming are all done nicely. it has good influence, i already heard a commercial using the ghost protocol language. “should you choose to accept this mission….. the deal will destroy itself very soon… “.
